flybe launches new seating reservation system!!

flybe, one of Europe's largest low cost airlines have just launched a new online seat reservation system. flybe's press release quotes; "You can now choose your actual seat, during the time you book your flight or any time afterwards! What's more these great new features are all available up to the day of your flight."

Ryanair offers end of summer cheap flights!

Ryanair www.ryanair.com offers return flights to Nîmes from Luton, Liverpool and, until the end of October, Stansted from about £40, including taxes and internet discount.

Nimes to host Flamenco festival

Between the 25th and 30th of January, the city of Nîmes will host the fifteenth edition of the Festival Flamenco du Théâtre de Nîmes. The city's main theatre, the Odeón, will be the most important stage of this flamenco event that has already become traditional.

the grape harvest festival in Banyuls-sur-Mer takes place on the third weekend of October.
Tasting workshops are set up with specific themes in the various wine cellars of Banyuls-sur-Mer.

IKEA Opens new store in Montpellier !!!

The well known Sweedish chain, Ikea, has just this week opened the doors to it's new store in Montpellier.

Located just off junction 29 of the A9 motorway, the store is open Monday - Saturday, 10h - 21h
